LA County Median Home Price Continues to Rise to $512,890 "Los Angeles County home prices continued their relentless in June, with the median price hitting a record $512,890. That's a 1.9 percent increase over May and up 15.2 percent from a year ago, according to the California Association of Realtors."

Indeed with today's looser lending standards and historically low interest rates, prices in LA County will undoubtedly CONTINUE to rise. Expect the LA County median home price to rise to roughly $550,000. At that price point however, affordability issues will begin to push to keep prices down.
